Jesse E. Morris, Esq., Founder

Jesse is the founder of Music Law Pro where he manages and oversees all other attorneys and staff. A Santa Monica native, Jesse has a B.A. in philosophy from UC Berkeley and a J.D. (cum laude) from UC Hastings. Jesse is also a musician with skills on drums, piano, and trumpet, and understands the needs of musicians firsthand having been in several rock acts himself. Jesse was a co-chair of the LA Chapter of the Copyright Society of the USA, and has spoken at various events for UCLA, USC, the Association of Independent Music Publishers, California Lawyers for the Arts, Digital Entertainment World, and SXSW.

Alexandra Mayo, Esq., Attorney

As a singer, pianist, and dancer, Alexandra’s love of music and performance has been a constant in her life. Alexandra earned a B.S. (summa cum laude) in the performing and allied entertainment industries from the Bandier Program at Syracuse University, and a J.D. with a media and entertainment law certificate from the University of Southern California. Alexandra sits on the board of directors for the nonprofit organization, the National Womxn of Color Collective, and in her spare time she enjoys singing karaoke with friends.

Edan Sberlo, Paralegal

Edan has always been passionate about writing and recording music. Edan has been involved in various areas of the music industry including custom composition, production music, assistant engineering, as well as sync licensing and digital archiving for legacy catalogs. Edan earned a B.A. in Modern Literary Studies from UC Santa Cruz (cum laude) and attended the UCLA Extension program for music business. In addition to being a songwriter and composer, Edan plays drums, guitar, piano, and bass.

Bernadine Sobingsobing, Law Clerk 

Nadine’s passion for music stems from growing up in a family of musicians and learning how to play a variety of instruments at a young age, including piano, guitar, and ukulele. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in English from UC Irvine and went on to earn her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During her time at Loyola, Nadine served as the Senior Production Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review and was the President of the Intellectual Property and Cybersecurity Law Society.
